The press service of Soghd Governor reported to Asia-Plus that a new border facility has been opened in Mastchah on 21 August. Soghd Governor, Abdurahman Qadiri, Head of National Security Committee, Saymumin Yatimov, and Head of Anti-Corruption Agency, Abdulfattah Ghaib, participated in the facility’s opening ceremony.

The construction of the border crossing began last year on the savings of the Anti-Corruption and Financial Control Agency in the amount of 8 million Samani.

Construction and contracting services were implemented by Sakhtman Company in Mastchah district. The border crossing consists of 28 sections, including dormitory building for border guards, officers’ quarters, sports ground, dining room for officers and soldiers, garage, stables, a room for visiting parents, bathhouse, and others.

Necessary equipment in the amount of 1.5 million Samani is bought by the Anti-Corruption Agency for the effective work of the borer crossing.
