DUSHANBE, October 14, 2014, Asia-Plus — Issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) were the focus of a meeting of Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov with AKDN Resident Representative for Tajikistan Ali Akbar Pesnani that took place here on October 13.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the sides exchanged views on a number of projects and programs of AKDN in Tajikistan.
Founded and guided by His Highness the Aga Khan, the Aga Khan Development Network brings together a number of development agencies, institutions, and programs that work to empower communities and individuals to improve living conditions and opportunities, especially in sub-Saharan Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East.
