DUSHANBE, December 25, 2014, Asia-Plus — Public hearings over the implementation of the budget parameters for 2013-2014 in terms of bringing the country out of the transport deadlock took place on December 25.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), says First Deputy Minister of Transport, Sherali Ganjalzoda, reported on the government’s plans on bringing the country out of the transport deadlock.
“Ganjalzoda, in particular, said that 15 investment transportation and infrastructure development projects for a total amount of 560 million somoni are being implemented in the country,” Sultonov said.
The deputy minister noted that Tajikistan’s haulage companies are now engaged in carrying cargo to 26 countries of the world.
