DUSHANBE, January 16, 2015 Asia-Plus — Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister, Nizomiddin Zohidi, yesterday met here with Mr. Takashi Kamada, Ambassador of Japan to Tajikistan.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, they discussed state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan as well as cooperation between the two countries at the regional and international level.
On the same day, Zohidi received South Korean Ambassador to Tajikistan Yong Junk. The two reportedly discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and South Korea and cooperation between the two countries in the framework of regional and international organizations.
Zohidi and Yong Junk also exchanged views on preparations for two important international events that will take place in South Korea and Tajikistan this year – the 7th World Water Forum that will take place in Daegu-Gyeongbuk, Republic of Korea, in April and a High-Level International Conference on the Evaluation of Achievements of International Decade for Action “Water for Life – 2005-2015” that will take place in Dushanbe in June.
