DUSHANBE, February 1 2015, Asia-Plus – Tajik Ambassador to Germany Maliksho Nematov met with the head of the German-Central Asian Parliamentary Group in Bundestag Manfred Grund and members of this Group in Berlin on January 30.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, issues related to inter-parliamentary cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany as well as expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries after withdrawal of international coalition forces from Afghanistan were a major topic of the meeting.
Mr. Grund reportedly noted that Tajik government’s plans on improvement of international infrastructure created good opportunities for expansion of Tajikistan’s cooperation with European countries.
The Tajik MF information department reports members of the German-Central Asian Parliamentary Group are expected to visit Tajikistan this year.
