DUSHANBE, June 13, Asia-Plus — A German delegation led Federal Government Commissioner for Human Rights Policy of Germany, Mr. Gunter Nook, arrived in Tajikistan on June 12 for a working visit, according to the Tajik MFA press service.
Mr. Nooke is scheduled to hold talks with president’s state advisers, Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi and Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Chairman Saydullo Khairulloyev.
German delegation’s visit to Tajikistan will last till June 15.
Besides, a Norwegian delegation led by the Ambassador of the kingdom of Norway to Tajikistan, Mr. Mette Kongshem arrived in Tajikistan June 12. The Norwegian delegation will stay in the country till June 18.
During his stay in Tajikistan, Ambassador Kongshem will hold meetings with Majlisi Namoyandagon Chairman Saydullo Khairulloyev, State Committee for National Security Chairman Khairiddin Abdurahimov, Drug Control Agency Director Rustam Nazarov, Transport and Communications Minister Abdurahim Ashour and Energy and Industries Minister Gul Sherali.
