Rahmon orders to strengthen control of the Tajik-Afghan border

DUSHANBE, June 30, 2015, Asia-Plus – Tajik President Emomali Rahmon held a meeting of the government on June 30.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the meeting endorsed the plan of activities of the government for the second half of 2015 and the national blood donation program designed for 2015-2019.   

The meeting participants discussed and endorsed the draft laws on inspection of activities of economic entities and licensing system.    

The draft law on inspection of activities of economic entities, in particular, notes that inspection of activities of large enterprises should not take more than 10 days, inspection of medium-sized enterprises should not take more than five days, and inspection of small enterprises should not take more than two days.     

The meeting also discussed and approved the concept of free legal aid in Tajikistan, the strategic plan of modernization of financial system of the health sector designed for 2015-2018, the plan of the measures on implementation of energy projects designed for 2015-2020, and the rules of the intake of students under the presidential quota.     

Speaking at the meeting, President Rahmon ordered relevant ministries and agencies to take adequate measures to ensure timely harvesting and creation of foods tocks for winter period.

The president also ordered to strengthen control of the Tajik-Afghan border, the website said.
