Dushanbe. 19 August. “Asia Plus” — Humanitarian aid worth more than $ 1.7 million received Tajikistan this year during the July, informed “Asia-Plus” the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Since the beginning of the current year the republic received humanitarian assistance amounting to $ 22.7 million. This assistance, weighing about 9.6 thousand tons, was given the republic by 34 countries.

The greatest share of the cost of humanitarian assistance among the donor countries goes to Germany – 37%.

Countries, like Netherlands – 12.8%, Denmark – 8.7%, UAE – 7.7%, Austria and Afghanistan – at 4%, India – 3.4%, Latvia – 3%, China and Iran – on 2.2%, Kuwait – 2.1%, France – 1.8%, Norway – 1.2% and another 21 countries have also assisted Tajikistan.
