Dushanbe. 19 August. “Asia Plus” — Humanitarian action in support of the casualties by natural disaster in July this year took place in Brussels last Saturday.

As the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan says, the action was carried out on the initiative of the Tajik Society in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, with the support of the Tajik Embassy in Brussels.

Members of the Tajik diplomatic missions, Honorary Consul of Tajikistan in Belgium Klaus Van Dyck, the members of the Tajik Society in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg and friends of Tajikistan living in the Benelux countries participated in the event.

Participants of the event were offered the books about Tajikistan, photos, souvenirs, manual products, traditional Tajik robes and skullcaps, and national dishes.

At the end of humanitarian action collected amount was transferred to a special account of the State Savings Bank “Amonatbank”, which was opened to collect aid for the affected population of Tajikistan.
