The Representation of the Ministry of Labor of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation urged citizens of the country in Russia to refrain from transferring funds to the bank cards of unknown persons and foreign organizations.

The agency reminded that in Russia, such operations could be subject to criminal liability, especially if it involves financing prohibited organizations.

It is also noted that a number of organizations have been recognized by the Supreme Courts of Tajikistan and Russia as terrorist, extremist, or foreign agents, and financial support for such structures may entail criminal punishment.

In case of questions or problems, citizens were advised to seek free legal assistance at the following phone numbers:

+7 (495) 967-98-44

+7 (999) 912-58-68

It should be noted that earlier, the Labor Ministry Representation in the Russian Federation reported on new rules in effect at the Russian border.

In particular, Russian border authorities received the right to check personal electronic devices of citizens when crossing the border — including mobile phones, computers, and other gadgets.

It was noted that in case of refusal to provide the device for inspection or to unlock it, citizens could be held accountable: a fine ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 rubles or administrative arrest for up to 15 days.

According to the agency, such measures were aimed at strengthening the fight against extremism and smuggling. The representation emphasized that border authorities have the right to inspect personal belongings when crossing the border, and refusal to undergo inspection could lead to legal consequences. Citizens heading to Russia were advised to consider these requirements to avoid problems.
