Dushanbe. 19 August. “Asia Plus” — “Faraj” journalists Amindzhon Gulmurodzod have sentenced to two years imprisonment in a penal colony for forged documents and their further use.

The journalist convicted under Article 340 of the Criminal Code, “Forgery, manufacture or sale of forged documents, state awards, stamps, seals, forms.”

The Court of Ismoili Somoni District condemned Gulmurodzoda guilty of falsifying his birth certificate, and, naturally, national passport of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Besides, the court found him guilty, because using this passport, Gulmurodzoda has violated the law when applying for a job. The Court annulled all the documents that he obtained when showing a passport: the diploma of higher education, employment history, the act of buying and selling real estate and so on.

At the hearing was noted, that there is no person in the Rudaki registry office under a certificate number №208 with the name Amindzhon Gulmurodzoda.
