DUSHANBE, April 22, Asia-Plus — Tajik national air carrier, TajikAir, has suffered an estimated 25,000 euros in economic damage from deportation of illegal labor migrants from the Russian Federation over the first quarter of this year, the TajikAir officials announced at a press conference in Dushanbe Monday afternoon.
During the press conference, it was noted that 178 persons have been deported from Russia over the report period; 132 of them have been deported from Moscow, nine from Yekaterinburg, five from Novosibirsk and seven from St. Petersburg.
Speaking to reporters, the TajikAir general director Hokimsho Tilloyev, noted that planes of Tajik national air carrier have transported 119 bodies of Tajik nationals from Russia over the report period.
We will recall that by president’s bodies of Tajik nationals should to be transported by the national air carrier and railways to the country free of charge. Only expenses related to official registration, forensic medical examination and some other expenses on preparations for transportation are to be paid.
