DUSHANBE, December 7, 2015, Asia-Plus – Sharif Said, Chairman of Tajikistan’s Chamber Commerce and Industry (CCI), received an Uzbek business delegation on December 5.
According to the CCI press center, the delegation members included Sardor Abbaskhonov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Joint-Stock Company (JSC) Uzmarkazimpeks, Olimzhon Qayumov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Markazsanoateksport, and Sarvar Ergashev, Head of the Marketing Department of JSC Uzgprommashimpeks.
The sides reportedly exchanged views on state and prospects of further expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
They, in particular, discussed issues related to establishment of close ties between the business communities of the two countries and opening of Uzbekistan’s trading house in Dushanbe, the source said.
We will recall that Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are expected to hold bilateral political consultations here from December 17-18. Co-chaired by deputy foreign ministers, Tajikistan-Uzbekistan political consultations will focus on state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries. A special attention will be paid to expansion of cooperation between Dushanbe and Tashkent within the trade and transportation sectors.
