New Chinese ambassador presents copies of his credentials to Tajik FM

DUSHANBE, December 8, 2015, Asia-Plus – New Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan Yu Bin yesterday presented copies of his credentials to Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

In the course of the talks, Aslov and Yu reportedly discussed issues related to further expansion of bilateral political, economic and humanitarian cooperation between Tajikistan and China.

The two also outlined plans on further practical implementation of agreements reached between the leaders of the two countries here in September 2014 and in Beijing in September 2015, the Tajik MFA information department said.

Ambassador Yu Bin, who had previously served as the People”s Republic of China”s Ambassador to Georgia for over two years, replaced Ambassador Fan Xianrong.

On the same day, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov received copies of credentials from Algerian Ambassador Nasser Busherit.
