DUSHANBE, December 16, 2015, Asia-Plus — More than 22,000 Tajik individual entrepreneurs have closed their business over the first nine months of this year, according to the Tax Committee under the Government of Tajikistan.

An official source at the Tax Committee says more than 18,200 entrepreneurs have returned their patents and more than 4,200 others have returned their certificates for entrepreneurial activity to the Tax Committee.  

According to him, registration and termination of small entrepreneurship is a routine matter. 

“95 percent of entrepreneurs who have terminated their business over the report period get their patents or certificates in the 2000s,” the source said.

As of November 1, 2015, there were more than 53,700 economic entities operating in the country, which is 29,700 more than at the beginning of this year.
