DUSHANBE, December 16, 2015, Asia-Plus — Over the first eleven months of this year, the external trade turnover of Tajikistan, including electrical power and natural gas, has amounted to more than 3.9 billion U.S. dollars, which was 81.8 percent of the January-November 2014 level or nearly 890 million USD fewer, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Over the report period, the trade balance has been negative and amounted to 2.3 billion U.S. dollars.

In January-November this year, exports of goods have amounted to 803 million U.S. dollars, 9.5 percent (84 million USD) fewer than in the same period last.

Over the same eleven-month period, imports of goods into the country have amounted to more than 3.1 billion U.S. dollars, which was 20.2 percent (894 million USD) fewer than in the same period last year.

In January-November this year, Tajikistan has had trade relations with 87 countries of the world, including ten CIS nations.

Over the same eleven-month period, major trade partners of Tajikistan were:  Russia – more than 1 billion USD; China – 698 million USD; and Kazakhstan – 636 million USD.
