New Tajik ambassador presents copies of his credentials to Chinese Foreign Ministry official

DUSHANBE, April 8, 2016, Asia-Plus – New Tajik Ambassador to China Parviz Davlatzoda yesterday presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Director-General of the Protocol Department of China’s Foreign Ministry, Zhang Yiming.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, the two discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and China. 

They highly appraised the current level of interstate relations between the two countries and declared for further development of friendly relations and strategic partnership between Tajikistan and China, the source said.

We will recall that by president’s decree Parviz Davlatzoda, who had previously served as Deputy Foreign Minister, was appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China on March 29, replacing Rashid Alimov, who was appointed the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on January 1.
