Tajik deputy foreign minister, Palestinian ambassador discuss cooperation

DUSHANBE, April 19, 2016, Asia-Plus – On Monday April 18, First Deputy Foreign Minister, Nizomiddin Zohidi, met here with Mohammad Tarshahani, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Tajikistan (with residence in Tashkent).

According to the Tajik MFA information department, the two discussed state and prospects of expansion of bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, agriculture, tourism, education and culture.

Zohidi and Tarshahani also exchanged views on issues related to combating international terrorism and extremism as well as cooperation between Tajikistan and the State of Palestine in the framework of the United Nations, the organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and other international and regional organizations.

Mohammad Tarshahani is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
