DUSHANBE, April 27, 2016, Asia-Plus – On Tuesday April 26, Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister, Mahmadsharif Haqdod, met with Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan Igor Lyakin-Frolov.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, Haqdod and Lyakin-Frolov discussed a broad range of issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the Russian Federation.

They reportedly highly appraised the current level of Tajikistan-Russia relations.

On the same day, Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister, Muzaffar Huseinov, received Mr. Takashi Kamada, Charge d affaires a.i., Japan’s Embassy in Dushanbe. 

In the course of the talks, the two discussed bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan and exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest, the source said.
