PamirEnergy has not reduced electricity supplies to its customers

            KHROG, February 26, Asia-Plus  — The PamirEnergy Company (PamirEnergy) has not reduced electricity supplies to its customers and they have electrical power in accordance with schedule, Asia-Plus ahs learned from the PamirEenergy generation department head Amirkhon Rahimov. 

            According to him, a 21 megawatt Pamir-1 hydropower plant and an 8.7 megawatt Khorog hydropower plant now jointly generate electrical power at the rate of more than 700,000 kWh per day.  “Residential consumers and enterprises in Khorog have electricity 20 hours per day and the supply of daily electrical power to the nearby districts is currently 14-16 hours,” Rahimov said.     

            In the meantime, Nazarmamad Gadomamadov, an engineer with electric system of PamirEnergy, said that the Rushan district, administrative center of the Roshtqala district, central regional hospital in Khorog and some residential entities of Khorog with the least electricity debts have received electricity supplies regularly.  

            “With increase in the volume of electrical power generated by the Norak hydroelectric power station (HPS), electricity supplies to GBAO’s Darvoz and Vanj district is being stabilized as well,” Gadomamadov said

             Ishkashim, Rushan and Murgab districts are provided with electricity from small hydropower plants located in their territories within the realms of possible, the engineer said.
