DUSHANBE, July 20, 2016, Asia-Plus — On Sunday July 17, at the final session of the course “Basics of Business and Entrepreneurship”, participants have successfully defended their business projects developed within the course, according to press release issued by Spitamen Bank.
On that day participants of the course presented their business projects. Ideas have concerned different areas of business, from the growth and sale of mushrooms, to the provision of information technology services. Experts and guest have recognized the idea of school chess for kids “Chess Genius” as one of the best ideas. All participants received certificates confirming presentation of projects and participation in the course.
“Spitamen Bank not by chance supported the project. The training material and the approach used in this course are fully in line with modern requirements of instruction of children and teenagers in the basics of business and improvement of their financial literacy. The course is part of an overall program to improve the financial literacy of the population, that our bank has launched this year, and is already producing concrete results,” said First Deputy Chairman of the Spitamen Bank Board, Umedjon Hikmatov.
The course “Fundamentals of Business and Entrepreneurship” was held from May 8 to July 17 under financial support of Spitamen Bank and the T-MBA Program. The sessions reportedly involved adolescents aged 14 to 18 years.
The course consisted of sixteen sessions and was held for six weeks.
The main objective of the course was in providing participants with an adapted according to age criteria, material for learning the basics of entrepreneurship and increasing their level of financial literacy. Following the session, the participants developed and defended their own business plans, prepared a presentation with the use of information graphics, and the economic justification.
