DUSHANBE, February 5, Asia-Plus  — Officers from the GBAO counternarcotics directorate, have detained Afghan national in the Niwodak area of Khorog with 10 kilograms of hashish, according to the Tajik Drug Control Agency (DCA).

The 18-year-old resident of the Afghan village of Wiyod Qurbonnazar waladi Imomnazar was detained on February 4 with a package of narcotics that tested positive to hashish weighing some 10 kilograms, the source at a DCA said.    

The same day, a package containing some 800 grams of hashish from confiscated from in Khujand, Sughd province.
