In Tajikistan, the first director of the state institution of the «State Symphony Orchestra» was appointed.

Ordinance on the appointment of Olimjon Solizoda as the first director of the orchestra was signed by . President Emomali Rahmon on August 15, informs the press service of the President of the Republic

Olimjon Solizoda was born on October 24, 1967 in Dushanbe. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the State University of Khujand. 

Solizada began his career as a singer, performed in the ensemble "Nuri Khujand", was the main director of the group "Bazmoro".

He also headed the State Drama Theater "Buston", worked in the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan as the main specialist of the Department of Arts and Deputy Director of the Opera and Ballet Theater named after Sadriddin Aini.

Olimjon Solizoda is the son of the famous Tajik performer of classical songs Alijon Soliev.

The State Symphony Orchestra under the executive staff of the country's president was formed by decree of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon of August 23 last year.
