DUSHANBE, November 22, Asia-Plus — Moscow Engineering-Physical Institute (MIFI) is ready to train information security specialists for Tajikistan, Viktor Gorbatov, deputy dean of the Faculty of Information Security at MIFI, said in an interview with Asia-Plus in Dushanbe, following an international seminar on information security that was held in Dushanbe on November 21.
According to him, an appropriate agreement on this subject has been signed between MIFI and the Tajik Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
“Under this agreement, the Tajik side will pay for Tajik student’ studying at our institute, and we, for our part, pledge ourselves to train skilled specialists for Tajikistan,” the deputy dean said, adding that three Tajik students have already been studying at MIFI.
During five years, we plan to train more than 25 specialists for the Tajik main Directorate for Protection of State Secrets,” Gorbatov said.
He added that they also plan to sign a cooperation agreement with Tajik Technological Institute in the near future.
