Prime Minister Qohir Rasoulzoda has decided to finance rehabilitation of five kilometers of a road in his home village – Khistevarz jamoat in Bobojon-Ghafourov district, Sughd province.

At the beginning of this week, Rasoulzoda participated in a ceremony of application of new asphalt in the Khistevarz jamoat.  

Besides, Qohirzoda will finance lighting of one of streets in the Khistevarz jamoat, according to the Sughd regional administration press center.  

Qohir Rasoulzoda (born as Abduqohir Abdurasoulovich Nazirov on March 8 1961) has served as the Prime Minister of Tajikistan since November 23, 2013, replacing Oqil Oqilov.  Prior to this he had served as Governor of Sughd Province since December 2006.  From January 2000 to December 2006, he served as Minister of Land Reclamation and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Rasoulzoda is a member of the ruling People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan.
