As far the increase in cost of products of the food industry is concerned, the prices have increased most significantly for butter – 303 percent, fruits – 16.1 percent, and rice – 15.1 percent.

Over the report period, gasoline prices have risen 16.9 percent, prices for home appliances have risen 8.6 percent, and prices for personal items have risen 6.5 percent.

Recall, Tajikistan’s year-end inflation for 2017 has been estimated at 6.7 percent.
