DUSHANBE, August 16, Asia-Plus – AKIPress – Leaders of member nations of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) – China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan – who have gathered in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, for the seventh SCO summit, signed ten documents.

The key document signed at the summit is a treaty on long-term good-neighborliness, friendship and cooperation of the SCO member nations.

The summiteers also adopted the Bishkek Declaration, which reflects the views of the SCO member states on the development of the situation in the world.  

Besides, agreements on cooperation between the SCO Business Council and the SCO Interbank Association, cooperation between the governments of the SCO member nations in the field of culture, as well as a protocol on making changes to a June 7, 2002 agreement on the SCO Anti-terror Structure, and a number of resolutions of the SCO council of heads of states were singed at the summit in Bishkek.   

Leaders of the SCO member nations also adopted a joint communiqué on the results of meeting of the SCO council of heads of states.
