Khatlon residents’ interest in SDPT considerably increases, says SDPT leader

DUSHANBE, July 24, Asia-Plus — The Social-Democratic Party (SDPT) held a series of regional conferences in the Khatlon province from July 4 to July 21.   

The SDPT leader Rahmatillo Zoirov told Asia-Plus that the conferences had elected new members of boards of the SDPT organizations in Khatlon, inspection commission, coordinators of work with party’s organizations.  “Ms. Muazzama Kurayeva has been elected as coordinator for the Kulob zone of the province and Mr. Haidar Aliyev has been elected as coordinator for the Qurghon Teppa zone,” Zoirov said.  

 Besides, they have made a decision to set up regional youth and women’s organizations for participation in the republican forums of the SDPT youth and women’s organizations that will be held in Dushanbe in late September.  

The SDPT leader Rahmatillo Zoirov as well as the SDPT political council members Aliyev, Kurayeva, Gulmamadov, Qudratov and Miryahyoyev took part at party’s regional conferences in Khatlon.  

Zoirov said in an interview with Asia-Plus that those conferences were necessary to show that SDPT has sufficient number of members and supporters in Khatlon, first of all, in the Kulob zone of the province.  According to him, Khatlon residents’ interest in the party has considerably increased.
