On September 1, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, together with the head of the city of Dushanbe, Rustam Emomali, opened an administrative and educational building, a modern hotel and hostels of the Institute of Public Administration in the capital and held a Peace Lesson there.
At the opening ceremony, Emomali Rahmon emphasized that in order to train highly qualified personnel, increase the intellectual potential and develop human capital in the public service, as well as for the scientific analysis, quality and effectiveness of public administration and service, the need arose to increase the status of this institution.
Therefore, he proposed to transform the Institute of Public Administration into the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the country.
The head of state noted that this step was taken in order for the Academy's teachers to improve the quality of professional training of senior civil servants, which will contribute to the implementation of policies pursued by the government.
