DUSHANBE, April 10, Asia-Plus – Capital mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev presided over the next control meeting on April 9. 

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that Ubaidulloyev had demanded at the meeting that in working days, all festivities, wedding ceremonies and ritual events should be held only after 5:00 p.m.

According to the spokesman, a Capital City Day will be held this year without mass cultural events.  The Capital City Day is marked in Tajikistan on the third Saturday of April and this year it will have been marked on April 21.  

Shavkat Saidov further added that 25 various facilities are scheduled to have been put into operation by this date. 

During the meeting it was noted that Mirzomad Sodiqov had replaced Nizom Mirzoyev as the head of the department for public services and utilities of the Dushanbe mayor’s office.
