President shakes up officials

President Emomali Rahmon yesterday introduced a number of staff changes, according to the president’s official website.

Hilolbi Qurbonzoda, formerly acting mayor of the city of Nurek in the Khatlon province, was appointed to head the Committee for Women and Family Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan, replacing Idigul Qosimzoda.

Idigul Qosimzoda was reportedly relieved of her post of head of the Committee for Women and Family Affairs in connection with transfer to other job.

Recall, the ruling People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT) has nominated Idiqul Qosimzoda for parliament.

Zulfiya Davlatzoda, who had previously served as deputy head of the Committee for Women and Family Affairs, was appointed the first deputy head of this Committee, replacing Marhabo Latifzoda.

Maliksho Nematzoda, formerly head of the Directorate for Work with Local Governments at President’s Executive Office, was appointed acting mayor of the city of Nurek.

Niso Yormamadzoda resigned from her position of judge at the Roudaki district court.

Parviz Saydalizoda resigned from his position of judge at a court in Dushanbe’s Sino district.

Meanwhile, Judge at a court in the Kuhistoni Mastchoh district (Sughd province), Saadi Hojizoda, was dismissed for violating laws.
