Jenish Razakov has been relieved of his post of Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyz president’s press service says President Sooronbai Jeenbekov has signed a decree accepting the resignation of Jenish Razakov from the post of Deputy Prime Minister.
Jenish Razakov had served as Vice-Premier since April 2018 and he had led the Kyrgyz delegation at the negotiations following clashes along the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.
He had also co-chaired the Tajik-Kyrgyz intergovernmental commission on delimitation and demarcation of the shared border.
Razakov served as Adviser to the President of Kyrgyzstan from October 2017 to April 2018. In 2016, Razakov served as Vice-Premier in charge of border issues.
Kyrgyz media reports say Razakov’s resignation is connected with border clashes and his activities as co-chairman of the Tajik-Kyrgyz intergovernmental commission on delimitation and demarcation of the mutual border.
