Members of Tajikistan’s upper chamber (Majlisi Milli) of parliament have approved the country’s laws on tourism, compulsory liability insurance of vehicle owners, evaluation activities, and combating corruption, according to the Majlisi Milli press center.
The third session of the Majlisi Milli of the sixth convocation, presided over by its head, Rustam Emomali, took place on August 5.
The head of Majlisi Milli Committee on Ensuring Constitutional Foundations, Human Rights and Freedoms and Legality Dilshod Rahmon, the head of the Majlisi Milli Committee on Social Issues, Science and Education Mahmadshoh Gulzoda and the head of the Majlisi Milli Committee Economic and Communications Sharifjon Jumazoda reportedly outline conclusions of their committees on the discussed laws.
Majlisi Milli members also discussed issues related to making changes and addenda to a number of codes and laws, the Majlisi Milli press center said.
