DUSHANBE, December 5, Asia-Plus – On occasion of the upcoming New Year Tajik national air carrier, TajikAir, has introduced discounts for flights to the Russian Federation that will be operated from December 20, 2006 to January 13, 2007.   

A source at TajikAir said that the discounts rate ranges from 37 percent to 45 percent.  The discounts have been effective since December 1 and lasts though December, according to the source. 

“Thus, during this period, fare on the route from Dushanbe to Moscow will cost US$160 (the present price is US$270), from Dushanbe to Yekaterinburg  US$110 (US$180), from Dushanbe to Novosibirsk US$110 (US$180), from Dushanbe to Samara US$100 (US$160) and from Khujand to Moscow US$150 (US$270),” the TajikAir source said, adding that fares on the return flights will remain the same.
