DUSHANBE, March 27, 2009, Asia-Plus — On April 1-2, 2009, Dushanbe will host a session of the CIS interstate council for periodical press, book printing and printing industry cooperation.
According to press release issued by the CIS Executive Committee, consideration of the draft declaration to support book printing within the CIS area will be a major topic of the session.
The session will also consider issues related to preparation and organization of the 7th international contest, The Art of Book.
The meeting participants are also expected to discuss foundation of press organ for CIS and develop an agreement on favorable conditions for mutual exchange of printed output, press release said.
