Opening Tajik-Russian inter-parliament forum, President Rahmonov has highly appraised the present cooperation between the two countries.  At the same time, Rahmonov noted that the two countries had good potentials for further expansion of bilateral cooperation, especially between Tajik and Russian regions.

The head of state stressed that Tajikistan had created all conditions for expansion of cooperation with Russia in the fields such as hydropower, mining and other sectors of economy.  He pointed out that at present there were no any problems in relationships between the two countries and expressed hope that the forum would give a new impulse for further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia.
