In Kulob, starting from August 19, four houses are being built for residents affected by a serious accident that occurred in early August. This information was reported to Asia-Plus by the first deputy mayor of Kulob Munavvarsho Tashrifzoda.

It was noted that there were three destroyed houses, but due to the fact that members of two families lived in one house, four houses will be built.

According to him, the place for the construction of new houses was agreed with the victims.

"Families have been provided with land plots in the rural community of Kulob in the Dusti microdistrict. The construction of one of the houses is carried out at the expense of the regional administration, the second – at the expense of the local authorities of Kulob, the third – at the expense of the contribution of entrepreneurs. The fourth house is being built thanks to the efforts of the imams of Kulob mosques," Munavvarsho Tashrifzoda said.

Earlier, officials announced plans to restore the destroyed houses at the expense of public funds – the government of the city of Kulob and the government of the Khatlon region.

Recall that President Emomali Rahmon allocated 20 thousand somoni to the families of the dead and 7 thousand to the families of the wounded.

In addition, 9 victims received keys to new cars: so the authorities made up for the loss of their vehicles destroyed as a result of an accident.

A terrible accident with a Dylan truck occurred on the evening of August 6 in front of the Somonien market in Kulob. The incident claimed the lives of 12 people, more than 10 people were injured.
