Azim Ibrohim, Chairman of Tajikistan’s Main Geological Administration “Geologiyai Tojik” told journalists on July 25 that the establishment of the Geology Center  had become possible due to an agreement concluded between “Geologiyai Tojik” and Iran’s Ministry of Industry and Mining.

will study and generalize geological data obtained in different years, as well as make geological maps. 

“Especially for the Center for Geology, 70,000 Somonis have been provided from the national budget for purchasing plotter,” said Mr. Ibrohim, “Besides, the Iranian side has provided 10 computers.” 

He also added that within the framework of this agreement they will cooperate in the area of exchange of information, cartography and prognosis of deposits, as well as free training of personnel for
