He assured that payment for this service is already available in the Amonat-mobile mobile application the electronic wallet of Amonatbank.

As the management of Housing and Communal Services explained to AsiaPlus after the press conference, the organization did launch a cashless payment system in 56 districts and cities of the country under its subordination, but so far it really does not function.

The Nizomi Muosir company, a provider of technical services, helps the Housing and Communal Services to switch to an automated system.

As the company informed AsiaPlus, now, in order to pay for utilities by cashless, residents need to come to the branches of Amonatbank in their area or city and pay for this service through the bank's POS terminals there.

"It is expected that by the end of this week it will be possible to pay for utilities through the Amonatmobile application. Negotiations are currently underway with the management of Amonatbank on this issue," Orif Tolibov, a representative of Nizomi Muosir, told AsiaPlus at the time.

Also, according to Tolibov, Housing and Сcommunal Services is going to apply to the National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan with a request to introduce online payment for utilities in other banks of the country.

"That is, in a month the utilities will completely switch to a cashless payment system," he added.
