The International Investment Forum, Dushanbe Invest-2025, kicks off today in Tajikistan’s capital, bringing together over a thousand participants from dozens of countries to explore opportunities in green investments, sustainable development, and the digital transformation of the national economy.

Running through October 16, the event will gather business leaders, representatives of international organizations, financial institutions, and government officials at the National Complex Kokhi Vahdat for a series of discussions and networking events.

Under the theme "Green Investments: Opportunities Today for a Sustainable Future," the forum highlights Tajikistan’s strategic commitment to building an innovative, environmentally responsible, and digitally driven economy.

The opening day features a formal inauguration and a plenary session, followed by thematic panel discussions focused on green finance, clean energy, ESG (environmental, social, and governance) principles, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and e-government solutions.

On October 15, discussions will center on financial technologies, agriculture, tourism, and public-private partnership practices in Central Asia. Key events include a dedicated investor analytics forum, a closing press conference, and the launch of the Dushanbe Invest-2025 International Exhibition, which will showcase achievements in industry, energy, ICT, agribusiness, and sustainable tourism.

The exhibition, one of the forum’s highlights, aims to present Tajikistan’s industrial and innovation potential and serve as a dynamic platform for international business engagement. The showcase spans a wide range of sectors including infrastructure, green technologies, agriculture, cultural heritage, digitalization, banking, education, and human capital development.

Alongside the main agenda, side events such as expert panels, masterclasses, and roundtables—organized by both international and domestic partners—will provide deeper dives into critical investment topics.

To enrich the experience for international delegates, organizers have prepared an extensive cultural and sightseeing program, including a morning tour of Ismoili Somoni Square and Navrouz Palace, a day trip to the historic Hisor Fortress with a cultural evening, and an optional excursion to the Nurek Dam and reservoir.

The forum is co-organized by Tajikistan’s State Committee on Investment and State-owned Property Management and the Dushanbe City Administration, with support from the national government.

According to organizers, the forum is designed to attract investment into priority economic sectors, promote green technologies and digital innovation, facilitate ESG adoption, and build partnerships between domestic and international companies. A number of cooperation agreements and investment memorandums are expected to be signed during the event, along with presentations of key investment projects and the forging of new international connections.
