KULOB, February 10, Asia-Plus – A primary organization of Tajikistan’s Islamic Revival Party (IRPT) for Hamadoni district of Khatlon has officially been registered with the district authorities.
Chairman of the IRPT organization for the Kulob region, Abdusamad Ghairatov, has told

-Plus that now they have their primary organizations in 8 of 10 districts of the Kulob region.
“On February 9, telling the constituent assembly the Hamadoni district chairman Safarali Gulov congratulated members of the party on occasion of the registration and called on Abduqodir Hasanpour, who was elected chairman of the IRPT organization for Hamadoni district, to actively participate in all events being held by the local authorities,” Mr. Ghairatov said.
According to him, they plan to have brought numbers of the party members in Hamadoni up to 100 people by end of February. As of
February 9 2006
the IRPT has had 960 members in the Kulob region.
