, Chairman of Tajik Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting Asadullo Rahmonov told journalists on April 13.  

According to him, a new building housing ten offices and two big studios is being constructed for the new TV channel.  This channel is supposed to air 6-8 hours a day.  

The children’s channel will broadcast educational and entertainment programs, feature and animated films.    

On announcers and anchormen of the new channel, Asadullo Rahmonov said they would be competitively selected from among talented youth.  

Asked about language in which the channel will broadcast head of the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting said that mainly the channel will broadcast in Tajik but it is possible that some programs will be in Russian and even English.  

According to him, the channel will be launched in the expense of the Committee itself without attraction of investments.
