Kyrgyzstan’s ex-presidential chief-of-staff confirmed dead

DNA analysis confirmed the death of the Kyrgyz ex-presidential chief-of-staff, sources at the Kyrgyz Prosecutor General’s Office informed the news agency “24.kg” on Monday, March 30.

The results of the DNA test came to knowledge on March 27, 2009 but the official medical expertise papers were delivered to Bishkek on Monday, March 30.

According to the test made by Russian experts, the Kyrgyz ex-presidential chief-of-staff Medet Sadyrkulov, the former director of the International Strategic Research Institute Sergei Slepchenko and driver Kubat Sulaimanov died in the car accident on March 13, 2009.

The investigation does not consider the version of intent murder of the official. However, some experts and the parliament members asked the security officials to take the version of possible political background of Medet Sadyrkulov’s death into consideration.

Omurbek Osmonov, the driver of the Audi collided with Lexus, has admitted his guilt and is under detention now.
