The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Igor Chudinov informed the Parliament Wednesday that the cabinet has ratified a list of 12 commodities, which prices will be taken under official control of the government.

Answering the question of the lawmaker Gulnara Derbisheva about the still high bread prices, the premier noted that “the flour price slowly goes down, making the bread costs more or less stable.” Moreover, the premier mentioned that the ministers have ratified a list of commodities, including flour, bread, milk, vegetable oil and others (marked by news agency 24.kg), which prices are now to be monitored by the state agency for antimonopoly policy and competition development.

According to Chudinov, the government went for these uneconomical measures, taking the current unstable economic situation in the country into consideration.
