KULOB, March 3, 2009, Asia-Plus — By interior minister’s order Colonel Rustam Temourov, formerly deputy chief of the Kulob regional police directorate, has been appointed to head the Khovaling police department.

Before working with the Kulob police directorate, Temourov had served as chief of the internal investigation service within the Ministry of Interior (MoI) in charge of the Kulob group of districts

According to the Kulob regional police directorate, they have sought candidate for the post of chief of the Khovaling police department for nearly two years.
