DUSHANBE, October 8, 2010, Asia-Plus — Days of Culture of the Russian Federation open in Tajikistan on October 7.
According to the Ministry of Culture (MoC), Russian delegation members include some 60 people; among them are musicians, opera singers and ballet dancers from “The Kremlin Ballet” Theater.
On October 7, Russian musicians met with students from Tajikistan’s National Conservatoire and conducted a master-class for them.
The same day, a photo exhibition opened at the Opera and Ballet Theater and Days of Russian Movies were launched at the Jomi Cinema in Dushanbe.
Besides, ballet dancers from “The Kremlin Ballet” Theatre will conduct a master-class on choreography for their Tajik colleagues and students from Tajik Choreographic College named after Malika Sobirova, the spokesman said.
Tomorrow, 9, the Russian delegation is scheduled to give a concert in the city of Tursunzoda.
The final concert program will take place at the Opera and Ballet Theatre in Dushanbe on October 10.
