DUSHANBE, October 4, 2010, Asia-Plus — On Saturday October 2, the Islamic Revival Party (IRP) organization for the Kulob zone of Khatlon province held a conference to hear reports ad elect new officials, according to IRP’s headquarters in Dushanbe.
Incumbent chairman of the IRP organization for Kulob Muhammadsharif Nabiyev was reelected chairman of the organization.
“The IRPT deputy head Saidumar Hisaynov represented the party leadership at the conference,” said the source, “The IRP leader Muhiddin Kabiri could not attend the conference as he met with a traffic accident on the 35th kilometer of the Dushanbe-Qurghon Teppa highway. Kabiri sustained inconsiderable injuries in the accident.”
