Kyrgyzstan has fixed new public utilities tariffs on cold water and sewerage system for Bishkek citizens. The decision was made Wednesday at the city governor’s session.

Starting from 1 March 2010, new prices for cold water will make up 4.48 soms, instead of 3 soms, for the sewerage system – 1 som ( previously it was 0.70 som).

As for the budget organizations, the price will be 6.15 soms, instead of 4.05 soms, and for the sewerage system – 1.75 soms, instead of 1.50 soms.

For the enterprises, including the heat station, and organizations non-financed from the budget, the price hike will be only for the cold water utility and will make up 7.95 soms ( instead of 7 soms).
