DUSHANBE, February 26, 2010, Asia-Plus — Approbation of new textbooks has started in five regions of the country, according to the education project management unit within the Ministry of Education (MoE).
“Open approbations of textbooks began on February 15 and will last until March 15,” the source said, noting that ten schools fully provided with textbooks of new generation (two in each of regions) were selected for the textbook approbation process.
According to him, samples of eight items of textbooks for primary classes and curriculums have been worked out and published under the education modernization project.
On completion of the approbation process, they will take into consideration all proposals and remarks while completing the textbooks, the source said.
