XUAR delegation in Tajikistan to discuss cooperation issues

DUSHANBE, February 26, 2010, Asia-Plus — Head of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sharif Said yesterday met here with a delegation of China’s Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR), led by Najat Yasin, head of the commerce department within the XUAR administration, according to the CCI press service.

The XUAR delegation members included Chzhuan Chao-in (phonetically spelled), head of department within the XUAR border trade directorate, and Yasin Niyaz, director general of international trade company, Yashin.

The sides conducted preliminary negotiations on holding of the XUAR exhibition in Dushanbe.  The exhibition is organized by China’s ministry of commerce and the XUAR commerce department and Yashin is an operator. Tajikistan’s CCI will provide assistance with solving organizational issues in Dushanbe.

The exhibition is scheduled for July 13-15 and some 50 Chinese companies are expected to participate in this exhibition.
